My 6yr old boy - leg pain
My kid crying out of leg pain during night even though he didn't play much during day time. Our elders are worried that he might be calcium deficient. Is this something serious and do we need to take any test for self satisfied clarity. As of now, We have made him bath with luke warm water and applied oil before bed.

Leg pain in children at night can have several causes, including growing pains, muscle fatigue, or overuse, and can also indicate a more serious condition. Calcium deficiency can be one of the reasons for leg pain in children, but there are many other factors that can contribute to it. If the pain is recurring and persistent, it is important to consult a pediatrician who can assess the child's condition and suggest any necessary tests or treatment. In the meantime, you can try some home remedies such as applying ice to the affected area, giving a gentle massage, and ensuring your child gets plenty of rest and stays hydrated. In terms of correcting your child's posture, encouraging regular exercise and activity can help strengthen muscles and promote good posture. Encouraging your child to sit and stand up straight, with shoulders relaxed and back straight, can also help improve posture. You can also consider consulting a physical therapist who can guide exercises and techniques to improve posture. Remember, it is always better to be safe than sorry, so if you are concerned about your child's leg pain, it is best to consult a pediatrician to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
