My 4years old son cough occassionally
My 4years old son cough occassionally for past 1month. I consulted the doctor,he has given cough Ascoril LS Junior along with Boostin antibiotic. After 15 minutes of taking medicine my son doesn't cough but on next day he again start to cough (DRY COUGH). what treatment is required or any test is prescribed. Plz suggest.

If no fever then you can give home remedies for dry cough...you can also use zerotuss syp for that...

Cough with duration of more than 1 month need detail history ,examination and some basic tests . Also symptom getting relived by the medicine Prescribed  should be taken as working . My opinion will be to please continue with the  treatment doctor(Pediatrician)  advised .
