Mustard Oil on head after bath
Hi Doctor,
My son was born preterm at 31 weeks 5. Now he is 36 weeks. I asked to doctor for bath . He said that we can give him bath.
1. Can we give him bath with besan?
1. Can we do gentle massage on his head with mustard oil or any oil after bath?
Please suggest...

No besan , coconut oil is standard for massage generally not allergenic

Besan and mustard oil - both are ok to use.
If baby has any allergic rash - then stop using them - otherwise all can be continued

Hello. Yes u can give bath with besan but with gentle massage. U can use any baby oil on head aftr bath.
