My mother had undergone a muscle tear surgery for her shoulder.it's been two months now but she complains of severe pain in her shoulder.her physiotherapy is going but there's hardly any relief.she is taking her medicines properly but there's no relief.earlier she never complained about pain in chest but now she is having and it's going till her neck making it stiff.she is unable to sleep at all now.please suggest what to do.

Any injury takes time to heal.... If this pain is associated with fever get examined for infection.... Continue cold compress and do your exercises daily.... It will take good amount of time for pain to go.....

Hi.. Would suggest you to consult heart specialist.. Pain in shoulder would get better by good physical therapy .
