I have muscle inflammation near the shoulder joint. am I supposed to apply hot pack or cold pack?

Cold pack for first 48 hrs. Hot pack after that.

The answer to your problem is cold pack... it is really useful when ever there is a problem in muscle...u can also go for Ultrasound and LASER sessions...followed by exercises at later stages...take care get well soon...

Ice pack- 10-12min, repeat 5-6 times a day.

Ice pack is always preferred whenever there is inflammation. U can also use some gel for local releif. It is always better to consult the Orthopedic Surgeon if no releif in couple of days.
