Muscle and joint pain on isotretinoin
I am Experiencing joint pain (fingers and hip) after starting isotretinoin 20mg. Is this a know side effect ?

Isotretinoin may cause bone or muscle problems, including joint pain, muscle pain or stiffness, or difficulty moving. You may get hurt more easily during rough sports. You may also heal more slowly. But these symptoms r common and will resolve once the medication is tapered down. Consult ur Dermatologist and inform about the same.

Could be because of that. but mostly it's temporary. You can try pain killers . If it still persist, can try reducing the dose.
