I always have the feeling of mucus stuck in my throat, but it's very mild and colourless. I tried allergy medications for 15 days , but it still persists. I don't have acid reflux or sore throat or cough. I know I have allergies because I start to get runny nose and sick when I travel and expose to dusty areas. I feel like the mucus in my throat gets thick and stuck in the throat even though I try to swallow it. I also have slightly deviated septum, but doesn't have any major issues in breathing. I also feel like my mouth gets dry when the feeling of the mucus in the throat increases .

In allergic rhinitis, a post nasal drip can also cause the feeling of mucous stuck in the throat. It better you continue your allergy medications along with avoiding the allergen. Keep yourself hydrated, increasing the water intake.
