Mucus in back of throat
Hie from last 6months i am suffering with mucus stuck in back of my throat which i need to clear it out again and again. I have consulted with the ent bt according to them its not post nasal its due to acid reflux and its not mucus its thick salaiva and also whenever i gargle with salt water the whiteness of the tongue is gone but as soon as i stop it the whiteness of tongue comes again, also there is bad odour in mouth, this is irritating me please can someone guide me about the throat and tongue its irritating me alot. Do you have nasal blockage? Headache? Halitosis can be seen in mouth breathers. Sinusitis can cause these symptoms.

Do you have any nasal symptoms? Suggestive of sinus disease? One of the cause is post nasal drip due to sinus disease. If you are sure... That is thick saliva. It might be due to dehydration or excess fluorinated tooth paste or due to salivary gland diseases. Do you have foul smell from mouth ( halitosis)?
