I had mucocele i got it removed by surgery There is mark of stiches and that surface is now hard i want to know that will it become normal or it will remain hard And will stiches marks will go or not will it become soft again

Hi.. yes upto certain extent the stitch marks and stiffness of the tissues will get resolved but might leave a slight mark depending upon the size of the mucocoele which was being operated..kindly keep up with the follow up every 6 months initially.. to monitor complete healing

Hello,
You can wait and watch for some time.The keratinized tissue may become supple once again.You can also visit your surgeon who performed the procedure at regular intervals for check-up.
