See the scan of MRI depends on wat material is used in the planting procedure.. Now a days v usually use somethng which is safer for MRI... Ct scan has a lot of radiation exposure.. While MRI has less but recheck plating used .. So if at all its needed and required only then consider it

Hi In this situation we need to see for which purpose we are doing MRI of patient. For example if doctor advised MRI brain then it totally safe with advance MRI machine. Second if  MRI of abdomen or lower limb Is advised in this case we have to check the material of that plate. But CT scan can be done with any type of plate or implants and it's safe also
