Wound in mouth is mostly ulcer (medical term) that has many etiological factors(causes) that u need to get it corrected fisrt by seeing dentist as they will recur if not corrected. Some of the causes I am listing as follows. 1. Long term Medications 2. Stress 3. Lack of sleep 4. Spicy foods etc.

You can only apply something to soothe the area like hexigel or dologel which will relieve discomfort. If there is swelling you may need to get a check up to see if the wound is infected. It may then require antibiotics
