Recurrent apthous ulcers are most commonly caused by underlying issues such as bad digestion, poor oral hygiene, vitamin deficiencies, malocclusion and sharp edges and some others... Plz visit a dentist as early as possible. We at Laser Smile Care Centre treat ulcers with the wonderful Diode lasers. The Diode lasers zap the infective ulcers and cause rapid healing. Worth trying for ur case alongside treating any systemic disorder. God bless u always
Dear Patient,
Oral gels only provide temporary relief for ulcers. For complete management and treatment of ulcers, the underlying causative reason should be eradicated, which can be Vit B12, folate deficiency, stomach issues etc. So for complete treatment, do visit a dentist.
Application of oral gels can only give a temporary relief.
Recurring Ulcers can happen due to multiple reasons like Hematologic Deficiencies ( iron, folate, Vit.B 12 ); Psychological stress ; anxiety; trauma from any sharp edges of teeth and allergy to any specific food.
Hence, for proper treatment we need to find out the causative factor in your sister's case.Accordingly, definite treatment can be started. You may visit an experienced Oral Medicine specialist regarding the same.
A proper clinical history of your sister will be required to assess the case better..... clinical examination will be the best option possible..... it will be recommended that you avoid self medication and consult a dentist for the appropriate treatment plan.... Regards.....

There are various reasons for having ulcers, such as gastric problems, stress, vitamin deficiency or any injury. Once the reason is known we can conclude the treatment.

Hi, we need to see what is causing it. If its ant rough end of tooth, we need to polish it. If its vitamin deficiency or stress related, need to start her with a multivitamin. Ideally please do a visit and take it from there.
