By the looks of it the lump needs to be examined in person to look for any induration and extension of the lesion.
Is there any history of tobacco chewing or smoking? Any symptoms of acid reflux like burning sensation in mouth or throat or chest?
Any swelling over the neck?

take a direct consultation for examination. avoid oily and spicy food. drink plenty of water. avoid lying down for 2 hours after meals. and stop addiction if any.
