Mollescum Contagiosum
Hi Doctor,
I have been diagnosed by mollescum contagiosum by 2 dermatologist. One says for curettage and the other suggests for Laser. Please find the attached photo and suggest the correct method.

Hello dear. This is definitely not molluscum. Probably milia or micro comedones. You can visit my clinic in Delhi for treatment

Hi ..both your dermatologists are not right. These do not appear to be mollusca. They are probably Milia which can be easily removed by simple needling the keratin out.
Definitely avoid laser as the dermatologist suggesting it is making a fool of you. If he uses real laser it will end up in bad scarring for such a superficial lesion.
