Lot of pain at left knee i am on medication since last one year. Took MRI also they say there is miniscal tear. due to pain my left leg became a bit thin than right leg.

at 54 meniscal tear is due to degeneration...it may not be only cause of pain..get yourself assessed by a specialist for any significant arthritis....regards dr pankaj agrawal .shoulder knee and joints surgeon ahmedabad
Arthoscopy by an orthopedic surgeon or conservative treatment by a physiotherapist can give you results depends on grade of particular injury or tear.
