Thank you for sharing what you're going through. It's okay to notice changes in your energy and interest levels, even in activities that once brought you peace and joy, like visiting the temple or doing pooja. From what you've described, it sounds like you're feeling emotionally low and possibly overwhelmed, which can affect your motivation and connection with spiritual practices. This does not mean your faith is lacking—rather, it's a reflection of your current mental and emotional state. Sometimes, when we go through stress, sadness, or emotional exhaustion, even meaningful rituals can begin to feel like a burden. This is quite common in people experiencing symptoms of depression, burnout, or emotional fatigue. It might help to talk to a mental health professional who can support you in exploring these feelings more deeply and help you find ways to reconnect with yourself—spiritually and emotionally—at your own pace. You're not alone, and taking this step to express yourself is already a sign of self-awareness and courage. Remember, even small acts of self-care or silent prayer can be as meaningful as a full pooja. Be kind to yourself during this phase. Take care.

Hi It sounds like you’re going through a phase where your energy and motivation—even for things that once brought you peace and joy like pooja and temple visits—have significantly declined. This often happens when we’re mentally exhausted or emotionally burdened, even if we deeply believe in God. The mind starts to feel overwhelmed by routines, and even acts of devotion begin to feel like duties instead of moments of connection. You’re not alone in this—many people experience this spiritual fatigue during periods of emotional strain or low mood. What you’re describing might be a symptom of mental burnout, emotional fatigue, or even mild depression. It’s important to be kind to yourself during this time. Instead of pushing yourself to perform rituals, try to stay connected to your faith in simpler ways—like silently talking to God, listening to bhajans, or just sitting in stillness. Let your pooja evolve into whatever feels light and comforting right now. And remember, this phase is temporary. Just like seasons change, your spiritual energy will bloom again. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.
