Milestones of babies
Hi Doctor, My son was born on Nov 2-2024,he doesn't try to roll on back on his own.but when we put him on one side and give little push on left thigh ,he is lying on stomach on his own. Other than he achieved all other milestone developments for his age. We are worrying. So can you help us here? Generally what are the milestones for babies and when it needs to be achieved if not when we need to consult doctor?

The milestone that you’re referring to is called “rolling over” It usually starts to develop by 4-5 months of age I hope you’re continuing with tummy time Baby is 4 months now, nothing to worry

Babies usually roll over by 4 months. We need to do a physical examination to assess his tone etc. but since baby has achieved all other milestones, shouldn’t be anything to worry about. Just get one checkup done to be sure.
