Migraine high pain
Hello doctors..
I am suffering migraine problem from 2012 starting slow paining but nowadays my pain was so high i cannot control myself anyway.
Migraine pain was high.
Right now also my pain was started from morning ...
Nose and half one side so much pain...
What to do please guide me solve the problem ..no medicine work...

Hello and welcome.
For migraine there are 2 modes of management.
1. Prevention.
some medicines are prescribed to reduce frequency of migraines or severe attacks.these can be prescribed after consultation. you can chat for details.
some foods and migraine triggers are to be avoided and they help in reducing the frequency of headaches.
2. Treatment for acute attacks.
some meds are used to treat acute attacks, like one dr has written about sumatriptan.
various forms of Triptans are used to give relief from attacks.
you can also use Tab Keterol 10 mg dispersible tabs, not more than 20 mg a day, if sumatriptan gives you severe side effect.

word of caution for Triptans use.
it can give you tightning of chest feeling as an side effect.do not repeat another tab with in 2- 4 hrs of 1st use.

In case of very high pain you may need to start onTab.Sumatriptan 25mg sos.
Start on Tab.Inderal 10mg bd. For further queries contact me.
