Middle finger pain below nail
From past 7 seven days, the region below the nail in my middle finger of the right hand is painful to touch specially when I try to hold pain for writing. It also has mild swelling. It aches when pressed, otherwise does not hurt. There is no other problem associated with any other fingers. I am afraid, can this be arthritis? Please suggest.

Doesn't look like arthritis. Sometimes growth plate near the base of the nail also hurts. Take dolo 650 twice a day after food for 3 days and use heat packs. Should be fine. If not then consult a skin specialist, they can look at nails
Next Steps
nothing to worry
Health Tips
