My mother is 50 years old. She lives alone with only my father and grandfather in the village and has no one to talk to her. Her relationship with my father is not so supportive and loving. From one year she is not well. She used to sleep  continuously for4-5 day without any food and comes back to the normal after that. Again she is normal for 1-2 day and then she again do the same. When she's awake and normal she will not remember what happenened..she will see or meet. She is unable to make decisions and has no emotional attachment even with her own children. When she's normal she'll enjoy talking , cooking and doing all house hold chores but the moment she goes to bed other than night time she'll behave offensive if someone tries to wake her up or try to talk to her.

She needs care and support. If it is possible for his children to spend time with her it will hopefully prove beneficial. Cyclic mood changes require evaluation for any mood disorder. Get in touch with a psychiatrist to do the needful.
Next Steps
consult a psychiatrist... online or offline
