Hi my wife is one month pregnant, as she have conceived one year earlier we did not want this pregnancy and went for medical abortion, day before yesterday she had taken mifepristone and yesterday took misoprostol after that she had normal bleeding but since last evening did not have any bleeding, is there a chance that it is failed abortion and what should we do next

the entire process is done with the help of a direct supervision of medical termination of pregnancy there is no issues if not you have to confirm with an ultrasound after 2 weeks of bleeding so that to find out whether the pregnancy is still exist or is it is complete

I hope she has taken the medical abortion pills with advice and under supervision of a gynecologist.if not please see a gynecologist .

Hi. Wait for 48 hrs Sometimes the bleeding will start again . After that also there is no bleeding then do a scan .

Please contact a nearby gynaecologist and get a sonography done to confirm whether she has fully aborted. These medications have to be taken under guidance of a gynaecologist only
