Meals 3 times or 5 times
How many times one shouldHow many times one should take meals in a day? Some says 3 times, and some says 5-6 times. The motor in our body generally takes 3 hours to move food from small intestine. If we take frequent meals(5-6), won't it create problem for motility and cause SIBO(small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)?

Hi..., In general 3 meals is sufficient.... If you are aiming for body building then Have six meals in a day – three big meals and three small. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner should be heavy and calorie-rich. A heavy dinner adds weight to your body as your metabolism is not as active when you sleep as compared to when you are awake.... Eat at regular times. Don't skip meals, and try to eat about the same time each day to help regulate bowel function.....Add green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits , dietary fibres ....Drink plenty of water....
