Lack of focus in class,keeps on forgetting his belongings, needs to be given interactions repeatedly, doesn't finish task in time How to get him diagnosed?

Children with above difficulties may have ADHD, which may not be the only reason for above difficulties. Children with speech difficulties, hearing difficulties can also mimic the above picture. Only if these symptoms are consistent in atleast 2 settings like home and school and presence of hyperactivity,inattention and impulsivity as observed by psychiatrist , diagnosis of ADHD is made.there are treatments for this condition as well. I would suggest you to take him to psychiatrist, preferably child psychiatrist if available to reduce his suffering.
