My fasting sugar has been averaging 8.0 for the last few weeks and I am unable to get this down despite the fact I manage a high protein, low carb diet. I am not overweight as well.. I am on Insulin as well.. Is there a holistic approach to reducing my sugars..

Sugar levels mentioned as 8.0 doesn't seem to be appropriate, whether it is 8 millimoles per liter or 80 mg per deciliter. Clarify in another question. thanks.
