Lung cancer (metastatic stage) query
My grand father is suffering from lung cancer which has spread severely to his neck/ throat region, neck is swelling a lot and become red and he is unable to swallow food or not eating food or anything, his hb is 7 mg/dl currently...I just want to ask about the swelling is so severe so how to manage that ? Will it be burst from inside ? How to manage the condition or saving the patient from that... patient is unable to eat or swallow food and become so weak and a severe weight loss happened.

Hi.
Sorry that your grand father is suffering from lung cancer. The sweling of neck in lung cancer can be due to SVC obstruction. Please immediately consult a medical.oncologist
