Lower diastolic level
My mom is 51 years. Has problem of hyper thyroid and hyper blood pressure from many years. From few years she is also facing problem of palpitation. Tomorrow she got blood pressure checked it came 140/60 . she is taking medicine for high BP. Is it ok as bottom level us lower than normal. Is it some serious ISSUE or a normal thing. What effect will it cause on other organs Can it be due to menopause.. Plz help

Patients with hyperthyroid tend to have lower diastolic blood pressure. Just check the thyroid status and get the medication dose adjusted. Nothing to worry as long as she is asymptomatic
