Lower back pain.
Yesterday i was exerciseng at my home. 200 leg raises for lower abs, 100 push ups, 100 side bendings. After 20 min i felt some pain in my lower back. While sitting when i move forward it pains like 1000 devils Or sometimes when i stretch my legs while i'm sitting i feel pain in my lowerback. It happened to me before also but it went in the night time but this time it is not going. 16 hrs gone and the pain is still the same. Pain is not continuous it bursts only in some position mentioned above. I'm having no problem in bending or sitting or standing.. I also applied lincoln ointment on my back. Please tell me the possible cause for this pain and is it a big problem like slip disc or something?

the amount of exercise you are doing is supra-physiological. this is a typical muscle spasm likely secondary to fatigue or a slipped intervertebral disc. popularly called sciatica. please read my blog on low-back ache all you need to know for cause of pain. treatment consists of anti inflammatory analgesic and muscle relaxant medication along with rest for about 2 weeks. Tis should be supplemented with electrotherapy and hot fomentation. please see an orthopedic surgeon for more accurate diagnosis and treatment followup.
