Lower Back ache
I have been suffering from lower back ache since couple of months. As per my family doctor's instruction, I have got MRI done for my lower back. He has diagnosed with Mild split disc and vitamin D deficiency. He has given me vitamin D supplements and few more Tablets( probably pain killers, I'm not sure). So, continuing this course and not involving in much physical activity for a couple of months will be enough to recover or should I have to consult a physiotherapist for sure? I'm actually little worried about it now.

Low back ache is a very common problem faced by people and most of them do get better over a period of time. If the pain is not associated with leg pain, fever usually there is no cause for worry. Avoiding stressing your back and rest are good idea. Getting physiotherapist on board is also useful and one should start back muscle strengthening after the pain passes away. Back aches do harass patients for considerable period of time but they also tend to get better after they have run their course. So don't worry.
