Hi.
It is common to have decrease in sense of smell when the nose is blocked, even due to a common cold. Plz don't be worried. Wait for a few days, untill your cold settles. Plz visit an ENT specialist for the treatment of the cold, if severe, or associated with fever. If the loss of smell is significant and persistant, it may require further treatment.
