Hi i am 20 yr old, my height is 5 inch and weight is 59 kgs. I want to lose weight. If I walk for 30-45 mins in morning everyday, and eat homemade food only, in how many days can I lose weight ?

Hi In a month or so you will see or notice visible results .. Brisk walkingwalking mins either morning or evening, power yoga, surya namaskar, aerobics, dancing, situps, steps up and down, skipping, all movements stretching etc are very helpful in losing overweight.. Along with body movements diet also plays a very important role in losing excess weight.. Drinking Lukewarm Lemon water upon rising on empty stomach, high fiber diet, all locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, dark green leafy vegetables, healthy nuts, seeds,low gi foods, low complex carbs, moderate plant protein, low fat, EFA'S like omega 3 and 6 rich foods..etc..are recommended..

small frequent meals with limited portion sizes, chew food well, plenty of water around 2 to 3 litres per day, plant protein, oats porridge, early dinner by 7 or 7:30 pm, gap of 2 hrs between dinner and night's sleep, no sleeping immediately after any meals during day time, being physically active all day through, millets, bran, barley, unpolished cereals, pulses, sprouts, fermented foods etc are important for me are very helpful and

Hi, Ideal body weight for your height is 50- 53 Kgs. Scientific way to lose weight is about a well balanced diet and physical activity. giving upto 3-4 Kgs of weight loss a month. Here are a few tips that will help you:- Exercise 40-45 minutes 4-5 times a week. Eat small frequent meals every 2 -3 hours Have whole grain cereals like millets and pulses Eat protein rich diet egg whites,Sprouts (especially post workout, it will help in building muscle) and improve metabolism. Eat proper breakfast, as 40% of day’s energy comes from breakfast. Include healthy fat in your diet like nuts - almonds and walnuts, seeds like pumpkin, watermelon, sunflower seeds, etc. Eat fiber rich diet, it will help to gain early satiety and help you feel full - include fruits and vegetables in your diet Avoid junk food, oily food, processed or canned foods. Drink a glass of water every hour daily to optimally hydrate the body.

Hey, its not necessary that eating only home made meals will make you loose weight. That depends on what you are eating like what proportion of carbohydrates, fats and protein you are including in your diet. Excess of either of these will lead to weight gain, hence, they should be included in certain proportions only in your diet. For example, if you are eating oily paranthas everyday at home, it won't lead to weight loss. We need to calculate the macros while making a diet plan.
