Long lasting periods

Hi, one of my friend had unprotected sex during first day of period and taken clear 72 pill for 2 days only. But she is now having long periods of more than 8 days. What can be the reason ?

Ideally if you have sex during cycles you dont need contraceptive. Your friends prolonged cycles are because she took pill But you should refrain from sex during cycles as it increases chances of infections , PID and also endometriosis. Consult direct for a regular pill.
