It is very rare but since you have an injury I would advise you to avoid any kind of exercise that causes abdominal pressure increase. You can do normal cardio but avoid any kind of crunches, sit ups etc. Consult your gym trainer and inform him that you are advised not to perform any exercise that would cause an increase in abdominal pressure.
