Lip biting
My younger sister keeps biting her lips and even after many efforts, she has not stopped it. It has even resulted in the inflammation of her lips. Please suggest what to do. Thank you.

Visit a good orthodontist near you for stoppage of habit. Else it would cause malocclusion of teeth.. That would be more difficult to treat

Lip biting is a habit which is usually seen in young children. It is stress related most of the times. The ideal approach is to consult a pediatric dentist for the same. Combination of counselling and a habit breaking appliance (mouth gaurd) will solve the problem. Good luck.
