My sister fell in house and had ankle swelling a month ago, consulted a doc and was told 2nd grade ankle sprain and had plaster of paris. After 15days she had pain and they changed that to some fibre support for her legs.
After another 15days she had pain we consulted another doc and we were told it was a fracture. Attached are the latest xrays.
Now its been a month and she still has pain.
Please let us know the current condition. What to do next?

In fractures of metatarsal, we apply walking plasters so that during walking your body weight should not go to that side. And that part of foot will not touch the heal applied
Whether it is ligament injury or a fracture..the foot and ankle needs to be immobilized with a plaster cast till it heals.
