Leukoplatic patch on tongue
I noticed a leukoplastic patch on right side of tongue on lateral boarder and extending in to FOM. [ size-2.5 cm]..i directly consulted senior oncologist.who suggested laser surgery [expenditure of 10 thousand and on admmision requred] but on second opinion oncologist suggested me Excision---FS admmision in hospital for 2 days with expenditure of about 2++lacs].also adviced 8th lower teeth extraction. pl suggest me to which specialist i should consult--onco or ENT

Laser excision would any day be a better option because of its distinctive advantages.

The patch that you mentioned on your tongue needs to be assessed carefully. I would advice you to visit a Dentist or an Oral Pathologist who would examine the area, find the causative factor and give you a detailed treatment plan. It is impossible to give you an exact treatment plan without looking at the lesion. Consulting a Doctor from any other specialization is something which one can say only after examining the lesion
