Leg pain due to history of fall
Patient fell down around 10 days ago and seems to have a dislocated femur as observed from radiograph reports. Surgery is not an option as age of the patient is 78 and patient has DM and Hypertension. And patient is weak. Request any orthopaedic in Kolkata for a house visit or physiotherapist for traction.

Age is not the criteria for not doing surgery. Radiograph should be uploaded for proper opinion. In majority of cases patient suffers from a fracture of neck or intertrochanteric region of Femur around the hip which requires surgical fixation. By not doing surgery for such a fracture it's only prolonging the patient's misery. The oldest I have operated is 92 years old lady...she survived and later walked for a few months.
