Left leg swelling
Hello doctors, I am 35 years male living in Chennai. I had a recent episode of Cellulitis which affected my left leg severely for which i was hospitalised and treated with combinations of iv fluids and antibiotics like meropenem, teicoplanin, cefina for about 11 days. After which the wounds started healing and the dead skins peeling off. Now i have been put on oral antibiotics (dalacin, nexen, doxy one) for 21 days and multivitamin pills (qnext and bc2a) for 90 days. The problem I have been facing now is that my lower left leg and feet is getting swollen if i have been sitting for a long time. Once i rest keeping the leg elevated, it is becoming normal. Please advise whether this will improve in due course of time or i have to take some specific treatments for this issue. It would be great if i can get some of your valuable inputs on my issue. Thank you in advance.
