Hello In general amblyopia cannot be corrected in adulthood. There is no treatment available. But we need a full consultation to see what's the problem. Not just refractive errors but many other problems can cause amblyopia. Sometimes some patients consider not reading few alphabets is amblyopia but that's not true. The testing conditions may not be ideal. So best is to consult an ophthalmologist again. He / she will advise you the best treatment if any. Thank you. Dr. Rahul Jain Dr. Jain's Eye Clinic
