My mother was suffering from severe hand and leg pains.as consulted with a doctor they told due to lack of vitamin c.can you please suggest what diet to take which are full in vitamin c.your precautions may definitely help us.

Hi welcome - You can go all citrus that means sour taste fruits like orange, amla, lemon, musambi same types all. Guava, apple, watery foods also heloful.Also sour tasted curd 5o GM daily half in morning breakfast & next in lunch . some vegetables like , green spinach etc helpful.
Severe hand and legs pain can be caused due to many reasons other than lack of Vitamin C. I would 1st request you to due a Blood test to identify the levels and then only proceed in course of action. Vitamin C is found highest in gooseberry (amla) and other citrus fruits kiwi, guava, orange, sweet lime etc. Ensure at least 150g of these fruits are consumed on a daily basis.
