knee pain associated with limping can occur by several causes commonly acute flare up osteoarthritis, knee sprain, gout in old age people. you need to consult senior physiotherapist specialized in orthopedics or orthopedic surgeon not general physician. solution lies in evaluation of knee with an xray and some blood tests if required. may require knee support and some pain medication. dont delay ..consult nearby physiotherapist.
