Assessment is necessary so u must go to orthopedic doctor
X ray is important to find out proper diagnosis if any arthritic changes are there u should take proper medicine and calcium tablets. So for now if there is pain i need to ask u few questions 1.location of pain.and type of pain
2. Swelling is there or not?
3. Do you heard any voice while moving ur joint.
4. Do you feel muscle weakness?
5. Do you feel Calf muscle tightness?
6. Pain during movement? Which movement increases your pain ? Or pain in morning/ night ?
7. Movements which u unable to do?
Don't do this following things
1. Squatting
2. Prolonged sitting or standing
3. Don't use Indian styled toilets.
4. Forward bending
5 heavy lifting
Things u should do
1. Apply Hot water bag 20 min
2. Knee exercises
Static quadriceps
Strengthening simple exercises
3 calf stretching
Next Steps

Avoid Squatting-
Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
Hello..It could be arthritis age related. Visit your ortho n get investgation and diagnosed. Along with medicine physiotherapy treatment also required. Take physiotherapy treatment and learn proper exercise to strengthen the knee muscles and prevent from further damage.Do that exercise regular.
