Doctor Answers (1) on Knee pain in left leg
Hi there...getting knee joint pain in old age is very common. But since it is confined to only left knee joint, any history of trauma or fall should be looked. Also any history of morning stiffness, small solid swellings in the knee joint, redness or sounds on moving the joints should be looked into. Because there are a lot of causes for knee joint pain especially in old age like osteoarthritis, trauma, ligament tear, muscle sprain. All of these should be looked and a x ray will have to be done since it has not resolved since 3 mths. So please consult a orthopedic for these above evaluations
