Knee pain, and positive ANA, Cholesterol
I have had knee pain for over a month now. Had x ray done, doctor said that some gap in the knee is decreasing. Blood tests show:
1. ANA: positive (3.54)
2. ACCP: Negative
3. ASO Normal
4. Complement 3: Normal
5.CRP: Normal
6.eGFR: Normal
7. Total Cholesterol, LDL and NON HDL Cholesterol 20% more than normal rangle
8. VLDL cholesterol and Tri glycerides just more than normal range
9. Fasting glucose 10%more than normal range (121.2)
History:
1. Diverticulitis (9m months back). Treated for 2 weeks in hospital, and then Gall Bladder removed 2 months later
2. Had regular, medium joint pain, mainly hands 2 years back, which nearly stopped after diverticulitis treatment.
Now regular knee pain, more than medium.

There are many medicines which help to protect your cartilage. Your knee pain can simply be due to age related cartilage degeneration. Physiotherapy help in most cases. Sometimes injection of medicine in your knee helps.
