I met a small accident in 1997,
In my right knee. Doctor said No fracture of bone or knee but a mild effect in side bone (I think it's called CANCELLOUS).i took medicine and oil massage and it was ok. Now after 18-19 years in this winter last 1 month happen it's mild pain back side of knee.i mean if "" I seat folding leg then can't open leg speedily."" What's the pròblem and how to cure it ? Any medicine or oil massage Plz suggest.

Avoid sitting Cross legged.
Avoid Squatting-
Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear friend please get x ray done for your knees.than only it will be clear.........accident as you mentioned was years back and might not have any relation with your present pain I guess.
Please get an MRI SCAN of your knee to know more in detail of any problems with knee structures. Once scan is done then appropriate treatment can be done.

you should visit near by orthopaedic doctor for assessment.do xray or if required do mri of knee joint. after clinical evaluation and investigation one can suggest you better.
