Kidney stones can’t be diagnosed by urine test, urine test can show some crystals that can be present Ina person without stone and can be absent in a person with stone. If he is having pain in abdomen then either USG KUB should be done c if it’s not showing any stone. Or hydronephrosis then next line of investigation is NCCT KUB. Must be in touch with urologist as well.
