Joints pains after chuken
Hi, i got chukengunya fever on 18th aug 2016, have severe right wrist pain. if i try to walk knee and ankle hurts a little, i have been on rest since fever. homeopathy and ayurvedic dint work.. my doctor asked me to take a 6 months break.. not sure if this long leave from work is required, will it get worse if i join back. my work includes lot of typing,writing, running around and 2.5 hrs travelling a day.my esr has come down to 25 from 32 last week Thanks in advance

Reactive arthritic pain in multiple joints after viral or other fevers is known to happen for 4-8weeks.only symptomatic treatment is necessary. It will subside on its own so relax. ESR is non specific so has no relevance here.You don't need a break of 6mths for sure.
