Hello dear At her age I would like to rule out osteoporosis and vitamin deficiencies as far as her finger joint pain is concerned. Shoulder pain alongside is possibly due to a localised shoulder pathology like a rotator cuff tear or shoulder arthritis. Get a DEXA scan to look at her osteoporosis status and a shoulder xray true ap and outlet views.

This is due to wear n tear of the joints. Hot fomentation and muscle strengthening exercises can work wonders. If needed then medications help.
