Joint pain
My husband is having pain from last 3 weeks in his right hand joint of thumb and finger.Now it is spreading to palms and joints of hand.He doesnot have any swelling. Though this pain is not continous but it is worrying us. He is around 5.6 F tall and weighs around 80 Kg. He is having healthy eating habits and also pratices yoga. I, however dont feel he is having any any nutrient deficiency as his diet is rich in proteins and vitamins. Please suggest. Does this pain signals any upcoming disease.

Thanks for the query. May I ask if you recollect any injury that brought the pain on?
Could you be a bit more specific as what makes the pain worse, whether the grip strength is reduced and if there is any loss or alteration of sensation in any part of the hand.
The causes of pain in the region could be many but with detailed information obtained from history and examination we could be closer to the diagnosis.
