This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you in detail.
-Control Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is any.
--. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
--. Keep no pillow under the head.
--. Avoid painful acts & activities.
--. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold.
-- .Do mild exercises for the affected parts.

More information needed.
Whether he was suffering from any illness previously like typhoid, covid-19 ,dengue or malaria. Most of the time patient with this illness may present with multiple joint pain, swelling and tenderness due to inflammatory cytokines mediated arthritis. It can be because of increased level of Serum Uric Acid level.
Further pain characteristics not explained like nature of pain , duration, associated factors with pain etc
