Jaundice to my child
I thought my child is suffering from jaundice. She is 10 days old only. I want to know what to do now.what are the symptoms of jaundice.

For jaundice, you can consult nearby Pediatrician for assessment of extents of jaundice. If needed, doctor will get blood test done to confirm,if anything need to be done. Or your child's jaundice is within normal range. For eyes to be clear of jaundice, it might taken more than 15 days in some cases. Hi, jaundice in newborn are of two types physiological and pathological. Physiological jaundice is seen in almost all the babies and it result within 7 days. Pathological jaundice continues to increase and needs to be treated. I advise you to do total bilirubin levels and direct bilirubin levels in child. based on that treatment needs to be started.
